How to Join an Interest Group

Click on the group in which you are interested in, to see the Group Information page showing: availability status, Group Leader and any further information.

Members or Associate members wishing to join a group that has Vacancies should contact the Group Leader.

Members or Associate members wishing to join a group that is Full should put their names down on the waiting list, either at monthly or Associate members’ meetings or by email to the Groups Organiser at: groups.organiser@fetchamu3a.org.uk

Group Leaders regularly advise the Groups Organiser of changes in membership of their groups and also of any vacancies for new members. When a group is full the Groups Organiser creates a waiting list for the group. Group Leaders refer to the waiting lists when filling vacancies in their groups.

Members of other local U3A's wishing to join a Fetcham group, may do so if there is a vacancy and at the Group Leaders' discretion. Please contact the Group Leader for more information. Membership confirmation will need to be shown.

Waiting lists for full and newly proposed groups are on display in the side room at the monthly and Associate members’ meetings.

Once a newly proposed group has enough interested members, the Groups Organiser convenes a meeting to agree on a leader and programme for the group.

If you would like to propose a new group, please speak to the Groups Organiser or email at: groups.organiser@fetchamu3a.org.uk

If you are a Group Leader or have authority to amend your entry on the Group listing please contact the Groups Webmaster by email at: groups.webmaster@fetchamu3a.org.uk
