We are a small group who normally walk for about 4 miles in the local Surrey countryside. A group member will usually choose a walk and we take the view that so long as there is a well described route to follow we will work it out together. In other words, you’re not expected to have pre-walked it!

Recent walks have taken us to Effingham Ponds, Horton Country Park, Norbury and St Martha’s Hill. We vary our pace according to the terrain and our fitness levels, and generally we complete our walks in about two hours. We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month and an e-mail is sent round to members in the week before giving details of the length and type of walk, and where to meet.
